How do I set the right team for my startup journey?

Ask any serial entrepreneur what the most important element is for a startup to succeed, and they will most likely talk about having the right people on the team. Ask any investor what they are looking for in a startup, and they will most likely talk about the quality of the team.

We are therefore dedicating the fourth PreSeed Academy StartupTalk to learnings on how to set the right team for your startup!

This event will help you answer important questions like:

- Which competences should I look for in my co-founders and early employees?

- How do I avoid the most common mistakes in regards to hiring (and firing)?

- What specific qualifications are investors looking for when evaluating the teams in early-stage startups?

The event is free to attend, but you will be invoiced a no-show fee of 200 kr, if you don't show up (and haven't cancelled your registration at least 48 hours before the event)

Nicolaj Højer Nielsen, the serial entrepreneur, business angel and out partner in crime at PreSeed Academy will as an introduction share insights on founders and teams seen from both the founder and investor side of the table.

Mads Klarskov Petersen, has as the Director of Talent at Preseed Ventures seen houndreds of startup teams. On that basis he will take us through the different team perspectives on each stage of building a startup and provide hands-on advice on how you as a founder can avoid the most deadly mistakes in regards to setting the right team and organizational structure.

Mik Strøyberg. Mik is CEO and co-founder of Good Monday - the digital platform for any type of office service from cleaning to striking Friday bars. Mik will share his lessons learned on how to build a winning team and strong culture, both from Good Monday and from 7 years in New York developing his former startup Lemonsqueeze, which he sold to Knotel in 2017.
